The site’s problem
Opcenter was deployed, but key users, operators and quality did not master it to the same level. The site was also preparing remote support from abroad. The teams needed to be able to do their work in the MES, and also to cope when something goes wrong.
What we did
We built the training around the site’s own tasks, not the software’s menus. Exercises took place in an Opcenter training environment: weighing, production declarations, equipment, batch record review. Handling a problem and making a correction were part of the programme.
We delivered the sessions on site, in French and English, in an industrial environment with Opcenter and PCS 7. Each participant left with materials to carry on alone.
What it delivered
After the training, participants worked independently in Opcenter and called on support less often.
